Enrichments
Enrichments are the programs PTA provides and/or supports that augment school curriculum and promote academics and the arts. They cover a wide range of areas so every student can benefit from these programs. We have lots of amazing things planned but they can't happen without your help! Questions? Contact: enrichments@csepta.org
A national program to positively recognize students of all ages and abilities, in their creative expression of artistic talent. Categories include: dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts. Interested in Participating? Download the Entry Form to get started!
The STEAM Appreciation program enables all students to experience the joy of learning about STEAM. The hands-on, creative-based activities are organized by PTA volunteers who guide students within the classroom. The committee chair organizes volunteers who guide classroom STEAM lessons with the supervision of school leaders.
Book Fair
Who doesn't love Book Fair? PTA provides volunteers to run a Scholastic Book Fair twice a year. This event helps raise funds for our Center for Learning & Innovation (CL&I) and promotes literacy by getting our students excited about reading.
Spelling Bee
DSISD PTAs participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee program. Your speller's journey begins at the local school bee. Our CSE school champions are then qualified to compete at the Austin regional rounds for Scripps Spelling Bee. All DSISD schools also send their School Champion and runner up, to compete in the Dripping Springs Town Bee!
Outdoor Learning
Do you love nature and gardening? CSE PTA is looking for parent volunteers who would be willing to head up creating some outdoor learning spaces for our students. Some ideas include a butterfly/pollinator garden, a traditional vegetable garden/farm, or a natural outdoor classroom area. Contact enrichments@csepta.org if you are interested in helping with this.
Healthy Living
Schools are an ideal place for students to learn about and practice healthy behaviors. The goal of the Healthy Living initiative would be to provide CSE students and families with opportunities to build knowledge and tools to help them engage in healthy habits for both physical and mental wellness. Topics that Healthy Living could address include: nutrition, fitness, sleep hygiene, environmental awareness, antibullying, safety, and technology/device guidance.
